Great shot. There are way to many photos on this site to filter through and select, oogle, drool, ooooh, aahhhhh, and wish I had made that shot. I like the balance between the reflection and the sky. Thanks for posting in a thread for viewing.

Greetings from the Critique Club
What a lovely image, and it scored well, so I expect you got what you wanted out of the Challenge. (well, maybe a Blue eluded you)
In reading over the comments you have already received, I find that I'm one of those who think the High Contrast aspect of this image is quite subtle. The reflection, and the topography, are splendidly rendered as are the clouds. However, I rather think the High Contrast coming from the clouds is not a particularly major part of the image.
Nevertheless, the general excellence of the image carried the day for you.

| Holy Moses! Now that's an excellent capture of Nature's beauty+ What a great composition, it really emphasizes the drama in the sky, even the water seems to applaude the cloud's turbulent dance. I like how you left a tint of blue in the sepia colouring. 10. Going to favs. |

| Beautiful colors and light! It might be nice with a bit of the lower part cropped --- is it a fisheye lens or a very steep hill with water on it? Love the reflection of the sky in the water. |

| Rather than high contrast in this photo, I see many close tonal values and ranges. It's a very nicely composed photo, but for me, not as much high contrast as other photos in this challenge. |

| Beautiful photo but I don't really see what makes it so high contrast. Would have been a 9 had it suited the challenge more. Still a 7 though, since it's beautiful and has some minimal dark and light contrasting parts. |
