For those of you who will undoubtedly say the wine is a little too purple in colour, it isn't even wine. It's water and food colouring....lol. And no I didn't go "dumpster diving". It was a bottle that a friend brought by a couple of weeks ago. He finished it off Friday night and it was about to go into the recycling bag when my wife said it would make a good subject for the secondary colour challenge. So then I had to go and "make" wine. And seeing as how purple is one of the secondary colours, I made it that way. :)

Here is what I think. I think that the crop is actually ok in my opinion. I dont mind at all that you have cropped off the neck of the bottle, nor the side of the cup. I have seen a lot of ads this way. It puts the focus on the brand of the bottle, rather than the 'prettiness' of the bottle.
I think that the tablecloth should be straightened up. there is a wrinkle in the back that kind of takes away from the smootheness of the bottle and glass.
The focus is a little soft, especially on the food items. I like the food items, and think they are an excellent addition for the challenge. Green pickles, and orange cheese. I do think though that the bread, like the tablecloth, takes away some of the smootheness because of the rough texture. The smoothe things, kind of clash with the rough things. Maybe throw in a smoothly cut piece of bread, or maybe some crackers instead.
The lighting works really well for me here. I like how there are a couple little reflections, that are not so big and bright that they are distracting.
I do not like the grey/cheese border though. lol. It's a little much for me. Not quite sure what color border would work. Probably just a thin plain black one.
Overall, it's a nice set up, with a few minor adjustments, I could see this on the front of a party invitation.
As for the color of the wine? I know my cool-aids better than my wines, so if you hadn't mentioned it, I'd never know. lol.

the crop seems a bit tight. I wouldn't have minded more of the glass and a bit more of the bottle. Perhaps its the constraining border colour that bothers me..not sure, but the border for sure is too thick and not a colour that is bringing out the best in your picture.

Very creative photograph. I like the elements of this one. I kind of wish I could see a bit of the stem of the bottle though. And I find the large grey border to be a bit distracting. Excellent job though, because you made me want a snack of cheese, pickles, and bread!

Too pretentious for me. Nice setup. Plane of focus a bit to far back.

You eat pickles with your wine? I've never tried that. I like this picture, it's "comfortable", and the unusual border actually works here. ~8

Hope you didn´t drink all what´s missing from the bottle defore you took the shot! :) Nice still life. Maybe seeing the whole bottle would have helped though. Im not sure.

Good subject, [pleasant setting. I think it would work better with more subdued lighting, and the foreground's a little soft. Now, pass me a piece of cheese...

nice but tere is too much going on take away the bread and the pickle, straighten the tablecloth or replace it with white and make the border less neon -7

Frame too big for my taste, all the colors there and it doesnt look to set-up. Good.

I like the idea here, as well as, the colors, but I think the composition is lacking. I don't like that the wine bottle and glass, and plate at the bottom have been cut off. The food on the plate could have been arranged more aesthetically and maybe throwing in another prop, such as a vase and flower, or fruit would have worked better.
