This picture should have placed a lot higher. It gives the idea of "glass" much better than simple pictures of an object made of glass.

Another nine score ends up low - This should have scored much better.

Excellent portrait! Shame you got so beat up about not meeting the challenge well. I thought it worked great and had it picked to do much better (I expected it to make the top 25). But it just goes to show how literal the voters can be.

Nice picture, but I think it's pushing the limits of this challenge a bit too far.

Very nice image. I like how the lighting provides for a good reflection. I also like the expression from the childs face and how it makes for a moving image as well.

Ah what a cutey! I love the pensive look on his face, kind of like "I can't go out to play cos it's raining!" Cool capture and an excellent submission which meets the challenge head on, even though the glass isn't the main subject in your photo.

nice idea with this picture i think that by having something of intrest on the outside of the glass would have made it more intresting.

excellent natural light portrait... the reflection in the glass sets this one off nicely :)

a sweet portrait. The look of longing in those clear blue eyes! The contract of the crisp red hair and the soft green foliage is great. The reflection of the watermelon shirt in the glass is a little distracting.

Is this "Umbrella Boy"? This is one of my favourite pictures for this challenge. It's a good shot - the colours are very nice, the hand on the window is almost transparent. I hope you do well. ~9

It's a lovely shot and I understand the integration of glass, but I don't feel it is the dominant element in this photo. Only a subtle reflection even shows that the glass it there. The shot is technically very good - great focus and exposure, perhaps cropped a little too close at the top.

love the natural lighting here but a little fill at head and shoulder would help?...9

One of the better pictures so far. Very good colours, especially the skin tones.

the glass really doesnt seem to be the main subject here

This has to be the winner for the cuteness this week. Very nicely done with some reflection visable but not an overwelming amount. The dof is perfect also for the image. Nicely done.

A bit more reflection in the window would make me feel like this was focused more on the challenge, but the photo itself is lovely!

nice moody shot.... I think it would have depicted the glass better if it was shot from outside....apart from the slight reflection you might as easily have not known it was there.... just my opinion... I like the shot though, just feel it's not overly indicative of the challenge.... 7 for the shot.... -2 for relevance..... 5.... good luck Todd.

Not as much of a glass photo as a kid photo, good kid photo though.

This is a wonderful photo, but hard to tie it into the Glass category. I understand your idea, however. Focus is marvelous on the child, and the cropping is near perfect.

If the glass were more the focus ... this is, however, a really good portrait of the kid.

The glass seems to be between him and the world he wants to see.... Hey, this looks like the boy in Life Span a few weeks ago!
