 Ok i know it is a bug but it's my first ever so i was pleased with the photo and with the experience of taking it.

love the bug - but your thumb takes up too much of the image. Maybe if you got the bug to sit on something else?

The thing that makes this photo better than all the others is the composition & scale you've caught by using the finger. I'm extremely impressed that your managed to get your finger & the dragonfly angled to meet the corneres of the photo. 10

The colors here are great, but the background is a little dstracting, not sure what that bright spot is, looks like light bouncing off of a door knob.

I love how the entire bug and the finger are in focus! The fragility of the insect really comes through and it even seems to be looking at the 'viewer'! The light spot in the background does seem a bit distracting to me though...

My hat's off to you. So many of the bug shots are nothing but a head on shot of a bug, but, you made a point to create a neat compositon with yours. The tail running diagonally across and down is a very effective line. Artistically done. 10

Wow, amazing clarity on such a small subject! Definitely fits the macro theme!! Really good colors on the dragonfly, and I'm glad that you put the finger/thumb in the shot so that we can see how small this critter is in real life. Very nicely done. Good composition as well.

WOW! Significant wow factor on this one! At first I didn't even notice the finger because of the sharpness of the fly. Really gives you a sense of its diminuitive size. VERY cool shot! 9 Bumping to 10. Great work!
