CC: A good macro, but overall very dark. The background flower makes this feel upside down - did you try rotating this at all ? You've captured the colours in the petals really well, though I feel over all this is a bit underexposed as they whites have come out quite grey. The exposure compensation features of your camera could help with that if this was not intentional. Good entry. |

Pretty. The overall darkness of the background emphasises the light, pale petals. I like the sense of transparency. The background elements aren't too busy, and are well composed. Nice DOF. |

Good focus and clarity. I think I might have cropped off the bottom flower, as the stem leads my eyes down there, and there really isnt much to look at. I find it to be a bit of a distraction. The angle of the top flower is nice. I like how you put it to the upper right. The flower stands out really nciely on the background. Great dof. The color is nice, but seems just a bt dark. The petals seem more grey than white, which I think they are suposed to be. Overall a nice shot though. ~Heather~ |

Choice capture, the way you have composed this pic is very good. You've really brought out the detail in that wildflower, and the lighting is bang on! |

Good detail in the primary flower. Colors seem spot on. Composition seems too open. |

One of my favorite flowers! They sure race the melting snow, don't they. I don't think people realize just how tiny these are. Did you use a macro lens? The emotion here is soft and full of wonder, and you've captured the random patterns of these wildflowers very effectively. The delicate and gentle light on these blooms is an accomplishment unto itself. Very nicely done. 10 |

lovely flower, not sure that the one at the bottom out of focus adds anything to it though... |

Nice I really like the texture of that flower. The pedals look like wax almost. Maybe should have plucked the other one before taking the shot maybe. |
