First challenge entry with my new 24-70mm 2,8 lens
The photograph looks pretty much the same straight from the camera. The purple cast is original, perhaps because there was a red and orange sky above the fog.

Congratulations, I agree with Andrim and Xilebo that I had no clue as to where it was taken, Ellidardalur was my last guess. Also congratulations on your new lens, don´t you just love it ;o)

That is beautiful. I very much like the lighting, and the purple color. There is something in the top left corner that keeps buggin me though, is that a roof?
I don't generally care for gloomy images, but this is truly captivating. Definitely frame-worthy, and if you cropped the right side about halfway through that clump, I'd vote higher than the 9 you'll have to settle for. ;-)
If I could vote (not a member yet) you would be getting a 10 for this amazing shot! Wonderful feel to it and the blue hue totally adds to it. The soft water is a little weird looking but doesn't hurt the image. good job and good luck on a ribbon.
Now this, to my eye, really is beautiful - because, I would say, it's about more than a simply pleasing scene or moment, and moves into the area of complication, of things suggested and unsaid, and it is that delightful ability of the art that nakes photography such a powerful thing. You capture a mood fantastically.
Very interesting. there are many sections of this photo that are captivating. I like the mist on the water and the haze of the trees on the other side.
would have been better if lower right area wasn't so dark. a different composition may have helped. GREAT blur in the water though. I like the feel of the shot overall.
Very mysterious and this image works. Would not be surprised to see this close to the top as images such as this normally do well but not quite my cup of tea but still very nice, I gave it a 7.
