a little uniqueness to a very saturated subject
maybe the DPChallenge could've been a wee bit more focued, my attention is drawn to the dice.

Kissing up to DPChallenge always scores extra points with me :) ... but maybe I'm biased...

Hehe, nicely done. Framing is great, though why is it faded after luxury tax?
05/26/2002 03:01:00 AM
Photoshopped?

I think it needs to be in color. Nice composition

Too cute/contrived.

I knew that we were bound to see the king of boardgames here in a couple of shots and yours is very good. Like the use of black and white here, nice arrangment of the elements. A little washed out up top but sinces there are no importan elemtns there it doesnt hurt the shot or my vote.

Good thought into this one! -NBT

Interesting idea, way to play to the voters, the game board ending after luxuary tax and the empty space above it are distracting. Why B+W?

creative shot but unfocused in some area's

I like monopoly and I like it even better in color.. Did you intentionally fade the printout on this photo? The 'community chest' cards behind the dice are actually bothering me just a bit because of the sharp dark contrrast that they introduce into the fading background. Bringing the GO into a little sharper focus could be an improvement as well.... good layout and nice effort on this photo...

Shouldnt that be Sales Tax vs Luxury Tax. Nice concept to this shot, a bit faded onthe top of the board but thats ok.

good clearshot - would be nice to see the dice bouncing allthough very difficult to catch - would have gained more points.

he he ... DP Challenge - the most expensive on the board - are we playing the rules that if your roll a double you don't have to pay? :) The B&W doesn't really do it for me on this photo. Also would have liked to have seen the properties past 'Luxury Tax'. The blankness is very apparent to me. Dice and money on the side are good, but I don't think the bits at the top were required

Does the printing end after the luxury tax square? Interesting.

Nostalgic light and creative.

Beautiful B&W. Nice work, good light contrast.

clever, suck up. ;) Great imagination - like this one.

The lighting seems a little harsh on the board to me, but its perfect on the dice.
05/20/2002 12:30:00 PM
very creative making it more than just monopoly

I think if you'd used matte paper, the reflections of the dice and the metal piece wouldn't show so much. It's kind of strange hoe the image drops off toward the back, it looks like the game doesn't continue...

maybe it's just me, but i dont like seeing "DP Challenge" in the photos. It almost seems like you're trying to get brownie points. personally i think it detracts from the photo and it feels like pandering.

So clever!

I like the angle you put on this, its the glare from the lights you used. Different lighting would have made a big difference.
