Awesome shot... one I wish I could call my own. I love the framing. Love the angle. ... and the colors are great. Good job.

The angle seems to lend itself for an action shot -- I would have liked this better if there was someone on the left side playing tennis.

I see a court but no game. Where's the tennis?

I spent alot of time considering what i could do for this challenge at a tennis court. I like the concept. Wish there was something else in the image, like a player, a ball or a racquet.

Good detail. Interesting perspective.

Nice angle and cropping. It would have been awesome if there had been someone visible somewhere in the back actually playing tennis. For that, you probably would've made my top 5! Still, good shot anyway.

Nice angle. Would have liked it better if there was someone playing.

Very challenging framing and composition you have chosen. It makes me want to tilt my head to make the court level again. The focus is great and the perspective of the net is great. You have made a very interesting photo out of a pretty boring subject matter - well done.

I considered doing something similar to this with the upside down challenge. I don't like putting things like this into comments, but this shot really needs at least 1 tennis ball somewhere. I'd also consider trying to crop/shoot this to avoid the fences and trees in the background and keep it even more simple. But that's me. Love the pattern of the net though.

creative but not that appealing

This is a nice shot, I like the angle of the photo. Although this is taken on a tennis court the game concept comes second to the other aspects of this photo.

I like the lines and patterns in this photo but the over all subject isn't very exciting.

Looks like one too many games of tennis!

Interesting in an abstract way, but a bit bland.

well...the stiching looks like it'll hold. Perhaps a racquet and balls or something would have helped this - if it was the 'tennis court' you were after, maybe back up and get the whole thing in next time. but the net is crisp and clear :)

Nothing wrong with the focus.....You met the challenge....My personal preference is not things that are just about repetitive patterns.

Nice!

Interesting perspective.

Although I've seen a similar shot to this before, I still like it ... just don't ask me why. I think I'm going to get a sore neck looking at it too long :)
05/21/2002 12:27:00 AM
Interesting angle and crisp but did not intrigue me...just my 2cents. 5
05/20/2002 12:53:00 PM
I'd prefer to see just the net, and not the court on the left, it seems out of place.

Good composition, nice shot. Well done.
