Stunning subject. The pools of light cast by the rays add a sense of magnitude only achievable with a stirring weather condition such as this. Brilliant.

...came God? =-) Great shot. The land below is dark and grim, but never give up hope! The Light is always there.

Very nice shot. I've seen several like this and this is the only one where the ground has such interesting contour.

Wonderful! The rays of light are stunning! If a little editing were allowed, it would be interesting to see this with a brighter landscape. I realize that trying to brighten the image as a whole would lose much of the sunray effect, though. - 9

I really like this picture because it has a lot of scope to it. The scenery is so calm and serene, and of course the rays of light add that heavenly touch that made me rate this a 10!

add a large rock outcrop and some wild animals and it's the Lion King! it looks exactly like the title suggests - gloomy weather departing & bright clear skies breaking through. i do think, however, that the slope in the foreground is blocking the view somewhat.

Lovely. Great exposure control - dark enough to be moody, yet we can still see the landscape. Might benefit from a slight lift in brightness. Well done.

Great vantage point. Love the sunrays coming through. It seems to be lacking a bit of punch, the colors seem very muted (even down on the grass in the botom left corner). Still very cool

Wild! A very good capture, well done. The clouds opening up to show the blues sky and sun's ray shining through like a spotlight on the land is amazing.

nice capture of the rays. I would have cut a bit of the foreground out as the darkness of it detracts from the light from above.

Border detracts a little from this - a little too thick. 6.
