Concept: Unsure, is blurry and what detail is on left is muddled in the shadow.
Composition: Well placed child with emotional expression, but is oof.
Challenge: Cannot see this here. |

shouldn't a silhouette be the other way around? dark kid and lighter background?

| Nice, soft image in profile, but, it doesn't really meet the challenge of a backlit subject which appears solid and without much detail. |

| I don't see this as a silouette to be honest. It's a good picture in it's own right but doesn't meet the challenge IMO. |

| The lighting on the boy's face is very nice. I can't really tell what he is looking at though, its a little dark. |

| A cute photo, but not a silhouette. I am sure others have made the same comment. What I do see here is nice positioning of the subject. I like this composition, perhaps a bit sharper focus. |

| I'm sure you'll be told a lot, this is not a silhouette. It is almost rim-light. You'll see numerous examples of silhouettes in this challenge, but in short, the dominant subject is all or mostly black, and it's strength is in it's shape and form, not colors or surface features. Hope that helps. Keep at it! :) |
