This is a beautiful photo. Not sure how it fits the challenge. The tree's are fantastic. The lighting looks perfect to me.

Very nicely done. ONly real complaint is the OOF leaves on the right side of the frame. Great tonality! Gives it a warm fuzzy feeling.

great location, you've done some wonderful things with colors to make it look like autumn

Very nice. I like all of the deep warm autumn tones, yet it's not sepia. Well done.

Nice colors, the person really adds to the composition.

Nice rich colors. Since this looks like fall, I imagine that this was taken in the southern hemisphere. The only thing that I would change would be to crop out the branch that's at 3 o'clock.

Beautiful atmosphere in this photo. Love the lighting and color. I find the object in the right forground to be distracting. I think it would help to clone or crop it out.

The object on the right edge is distracting in this fine picture.

nice shot, good colors, pehaps better with a little crop on the right

Beautiful. Has a sense of "antique" to it.

This has so much potential...
consider cropping for instance: the out of focus twig on the right serves no purpose... the trees on the right are quite dark as well and there's no detail there, I would have just cropped them out Although the darkness might have been due to a tad overprocessing...

Wow! (with a capitol W) What a terrifically beautiful shot. You've taken what could be a very busy scene, and almost magically with focus, lighting and the composition made it work magnificantly for this challenge IMO. The composition is wonderful. My attention is definitely drawn powerfully to the fisherman, there amidst a totally gorgeous scene. I find myself forcing my attention off the main subject to let my eye wander and take in the rich tones, textures and details of the surroundings, and then I'm drawn right back to the person. The photo tells a pleasingly wonderful story, I'm left feeling a yearning to be out on the water casting a line of my own. What an awesome job, I love it. Very well done.

I so badly want to give this a 10 but that blurry thing on the right is so distracting....damn you for not cropping it out. Spot edit it out and upload a new version so I can add it to my favorites it is such a brilliant photograph. :)

What a beautiful shot. Not a ten because of the distracting blurred leaves on the right. How annoying, because it's a stunning photograph.

Where have we seen this picture before? :-)

Just fantastic. Works well for this challenge. I love the rich hues and sharp detail. Wouldn't change a thing. A shame 10 is all I can offer.

This picture is so close to the one that had the boy in the stream. Everything the same except the subject. I will state what I said in my comment on the other picture. Not saying it was yours but the results are the same to me. The surrounding scenery with its vibrant colors compete with the subject. I find myself looking down stream or down the road. Still a good shot and worthy of a good score

This, to me is a perfect example of this challenge. You have captured the grandure of the great outdoors in this beautiful setting, yet at the same time, it is the fisherman who is the object in this image. Even though my eye wants to travel around this photo and take in all the wonderful colors and textures, it keeps coming back to the fisherman, as I'm wanting to know more about him and what he is doing. I originally scored this an <8> but pushing it up a few notches. Congratulations on an Excellent Shot! Good luck <10>

I really like this image and I feel bad giving it a low rating. I don't think it is minimalism in either the artistic or the in the dpc sense. Although the man is small, the central focus of the image for me is the river.

This is one awesome photo, I love it. I am not sure it satisfies the challenge as it does not appear to have one stong subject plus the editing out of what looks like a bridge is a bit distracting. Nice photo which should sell well with the editing fixed up.

This is wonderfully evocative. While it's not truly "minimalist" in the pure sense of the term, it fits the challengedescription to a tee IMO. I wish you'd cropped out the OOF leaves on the right, though; they're distracting. Stron entry.

The colors in this photo are stunning. It reminds me of a painting. I like the different textures and depths between the trees and the river. And the image of one man in the middle of it all is very striking.

Absolutely stunning photo, looks like an oil painting, but I wouldn't consider it minimalism.

WOW, I wasn't expecting to see such a busy and full photograph that would still convey minimalism as strongly as you have managed with this. The light area in the water calls immediate attention to the subject and emphasizes the small comparative size. Beautiful picture 10
