Thanks to any and everyone who voted and commented. This was a very challenging effort what with all the discussion(s) on what was or wasn't minimalism and I can't be more pleased at seeing this photo place where it did! Thanks again!

I ove thesse shots when the out of focus background really makes the shot because it works well wiht the forground. Your minimale subject is well light also.

Very cool concept, such as the water not dripping down (either you rotated the picture or captures the drop before it fell) Whatever you did, it's a pretty cool picture

one of my top 5 favorites for this challenge ... techinical quality of photo obvious with effective use of DOF ... i think the green background on the right nicely breaks up a mostly monotone background and complements the green leaf without taking away focus on the liquidly star of the show

Ahh, the proverbial DPC water drop! Still, very nicely done (I certainly won't mark you down just because others have done the same subject). What I love most about this image is how the angles of the out of focus background compliment the angle of the blade of grass. That makes this a unique version of the subject.

Excellent bokeh. A nice study in elegant simplicity. Technically impeccible with great sharpness, detail, and processing without any glaring artifactual distractions. 8
