Challenge: Free Study VIII (Advanced Editing IV)
Camera: Sony DSC-F828

Aperture: f/8
ISO: 400
Shutter: 1/640
Date Uploaded: Apr 18, 2005

I like it what photographs are interesting, when they make you look for more then just a second. I was very much going for an effect of “what the … is that anyway” I cropped close enough that it is not all all clear where the hair is coming from, it is my wrist and the Gecko is very, very small.

I don’t expect to get great scores with this photo but I wanted to have something that would give the views something to look at for more then two seconds.

There was the normal cropping, USM and level adjustments.

What a great perspective! There appears to be a littel color distortion on some ofthe hairs, but my guess is that you were really pushing your camera on this one

What a cute, tiny lizard. I'm curious to know it it will grow into a larger lizard or if it is some sort of smaller type of lizard. Very nice macro shot.

Struggling to figure out what part of the body that thing is crawling on - and yet, I don't think I want to know. ;-)

I bet you get some interesting comments on this one! My only complaint is that the subject seems to be obstructed too much by the hairs. At a minimum I'd want to see a sharp view of its head, but 50% of that head is clouded in shadow.

Wich part of the human body could be as hairy and wrinkled? And what's a lizard doing there? All joking aside, I find the colors and contrast a bit dull. The resolution seems low.

Hey, I know this little guy already ;-)
Well, to be honest this photo is not as good as the other 2 photos. It looks much more grainy and the geko is less clear. but still I love it! It's so so amazing!
And I admit the title made me laugh.
