Not sure if you realize or not.. but they are spelling out the word YaY in your photo which suits the spirit of the children playing perfectly...
I noticed it a bit more clearly in the thumnail size but yes.. your timing was amazing for this photograph.. initially I thought thats what you were trying to do is spell out something and how amazing that would be not to mention the hard work to get the timing down perfectly but as I read what you wrote its purely luck and an amazing eye of a talented Fotog..
Beautiful moment and capture.. thanks for sharing it with us all.

I thought this was the best shot of the challenge. I gave it a 10. It was unique, and refreshing to see a different approach for a change. Congrats on 2nd place.

Superb timing on this shot.
Made me study it for a while. Generally a real busy shot with many focal points isn't good, but this one is great! Almost thought it was a time-lapse at first. (8) |

| Really wonderful shot-I would love to see a cropped version, with less sand and more sky..or even half the way up, with just the 1st two pairs, and only a hint of sand..well done on this one! |

I think that this is the winner. Excellent capture, great colors! Good DOF with all children pretty much in focus, at the same time crisp image done with fast shutter.
Technically superb, very nice composition, 10 from me. |

| Wow - the sky is bluer than the ribbon you'll get for this. I gave it a 10 already but wanted to come back and comment. Fantastic shot! Would be nicer for the kids if they had a pool to dive into, but hey - you make do. :) |

| A make-you-smile shot - looks like real fun. This composition works quite well - I wonder though, if something closer, more wide-angle, mighn't have given a heap more dynamism to the shot, more sense of physicality? |
