Really enjoyed this challenge, made me look at objects out & about in a very analytical way. I mostly concentrated on reflections, with reeds and bits of woods in a pond. This was the most interesting (to me at least... imagine how bad the others were!)

Auto levels, then played with curves to get more detail in the log (was previously 'lost' in shadows). Applied a blue tint, then neat-imaged & a bit of USM

I hope its enough of an 'O' for people... I like to think of it as itallic! I think the reads are a bit distracting, but make it a bit more interesting.

As for the border, i know i'll get some "Borders too big..." but there was another log on the left VERY close to the 'O', if i left it cropped, it looked far too narrow, so (in my mind at least) adding the border helps.

This is a great picture. I would have called it "V". Nice job.

cool shot, though I personally don't care for the thick black border.

nice reflection, try and compose it in a bigger square frame and see the difference.

This is one of the best shots i have seen and the most creative! I think it is very neat how the shadow makes the letter you are talking about. The shadow is very clear and you can sharly see the image. Very nice job

Nice. Why did you crop the sides so tight? Also, your border is too large for my taste. 7.

More ripples in the backgound water would have been nice, and maybe a slight color bump to bring out the greens and browns on the log. Thats about he onlything I can think of to improve this image. It's interesting, fun to look at, crisp, and fits the challenge perfectly great job.

I like that you've used the reflection as part of the letter. Very intriguing and different.

Good shot with wonderful reflection, but the straws distracts too much IMHO. Very nice photo nevertheless!

Way to break the monotony of the typical V and Y tree shots!
