This is really an amazing shot. The focus is tack sharp and the colors are nice and vivid without being unnatural. Phenomenal scenery - my only minor criticism would be that the horizon seems tilted to me (and not in the good artsy way). I think if you were to straighten that and maybe crop a hair off the bottom to remove the piece of visible dirt between the trees that this shot would just about be perfect! Really great capture - I scored it an 8 during the challenge.

And what a view it is! Nearly everything is perfect in this photo. To bad the left hand tree had a branch hanging down where it did. Very very nice picture. It will be a top 10 is my guess. 9

Lovely landscape study with the distant mountains framed nicely twixt the trees.
Interesting colour variations and nice shadowing. A busy photo with lots to admire.

Great Landscape photo. The shadows on the V make the foreground a bit too heavy for my liking. But the overall scene is extraordinary.

rich colors, good composition. You should play with the composition of this pic, eg move the left border cloer to the tree, as it is such a wonderful, timeless pic.

Beautifful shot, i think you shold've brougth out the green in the trees to match the sturation of the sky. This green gives it a rather flat look specially because it contrastes with the sky.
Any way i like it very much.

Interesting shot. Shadows are a little dark and the horizon seems a little off.

Love this shot. There are a number of "v"'s throughout, making it fascinating. I can imagine that some will fuss that the "v" of the trees is truncated, but the entire photo proclaims that same letter - in the knots of the tree, in the branches, in the bare shubbery limbs, and in the great landscape in the distance. I rate this a VVvvery evvective V, and a great shot!

Not sure if the horizon is tilted might be uphill if not straighten it out . Like the colors and contrast along with the nice dof. 7

Not really a V... maybe a U?

Wow nice view! Too nice infact I was so drwn to the view in the background I had to force myself to see your V. I'm not sure if that a bad thing or not. Perhaps some light on the tree would have helped brig out the bright golden tone of the wood. This would have helped the V pop a little better.

Unless I am missing something, you cropped out a significant part of the V. Too bad - otherwise one of my top 20 picks.
