Hola Mambe,

No se cuales son esas circunstancias, pero esa media sonrisa me recuerda a la de Mona Lisa. No hace falta más.

Beautiful image! I agree that it could be a tad darker and sharper, but WOW - very nice! Perfect composition and expression. You're quite a looker! ;-)

The set up is flawless. I would have preferred it a touch darker and sharper. but overall, great expression.

This is beautiful Mambe. I didn't have time to vote on this challenge, but I would have scored this high. I love the natural light.. and the pain of your smile. Congrats My Friend :)

A beautiful classic portrait! That this is a self portrait makes this all the more expertly captured! Good luck in the challenge--I'm voting high for your image.

Lovely. This one has a real sense of serenity about it, probably helped by the soft pastel colours, and the fact that it's not a studio shot only adds to the appeal. Beautiful work.

i don't know anything about portraiture, so i'm using your image to try to figure out what i think i would or wouldn't do in this situation, as well as what i notice and get out of your image.

what an excellent capture. you look so at home with this, it's hard to believe that it is a self-portrait. i wish i could feel as comfortable in front of a lens as how you come across. the lighting is perfect. such a lovely range of tones and details. i really hope this does well for you! thanks for sharing!

There are so few photos in this competition that have used color or natural lighting. This one uses both and the result is stunning. The yellow silk gown, natural wood, skin, hair, and eyes complement each other perfectly.

What a wonderful photo! Beautiful eyes, I like the way that the light reflects from them, very expressive. Great job.

A good gentle portrait. The window light blowout is a bit distracting, but the colours are warm and true

Bonsoir Mambe. C´est une bonne photo, mais je crois que el fondo seria mejor si fuera uniforme.

hrmm...pretty good. I bet a lot of people are complaining about the blown out section out the window...that's the first thing that grabbed my eye too. The eye tends to be drawn to the brightest part of an image. Really, there's probably no way to correct the exposure problem other than ...

underexposing yourself really badly...using a REALLY bright flash hehe...or using multiple images blended together. So, I guess (on a budget) you'd be limited to finding something else for the background (still using the natural light) or cropping that section out.

This is a great shot. Light is wonderful. The arm looks the slightest bit uncomfortable since the elbow is elevated above the shoulder, and I like it better with the left side cropped in to the wooden window frame, but that is just personal preference, It is quite wonderful as is. 9.

Returning for comment:
A truly lovely portrait with very good lighting. The facial expression radiates confidence and kindness. The hair is great as it wraps around the neck and into the front atop the lovely shade of the body wrap. Hand position is good, except that inclussion of the pinky would have helped even more. Good focus. Bumping up.

Your face is nicely lit. It's a pleasing picture, but the left side is just too bright. It kept distracting me.

This is a beautiful portrait. Wonderful pose; using the window not just for its light, but also as a prop and as a graphic device in this very skilful composition. Camera work excellent & processing (if any) unobtrusive. Intelligent and mature photography. 9.

oh this is a lovely portrait - nicely posed with the straight verticals of the window and the colours match well , too - and then the light on the face and the folds of the fabric - really very good

This is one of the most beautiful shots I've seen so far. You've got it perfect with the light from the window and even the yellow in your shirt or robe compliments the window frame and softens your face. Very, very nice.

To me, this image screams to be reinterpreted in a duotone... The forms and lines are so crisp that the colors almost distract from the stronger qualities of this image.

Excellent use of available light. I like it a lot. But I am a bit unsure about the fingers. I don't like how the little finger is in half.
