Very, very, very great shot. If I had seen it during the voting phase, I would've given it a 10. This is the ultimate pain, and I love that seeing this picture makes us stop and realize that once more. Overall this did well in the challenge, but I wonder why it didn't do better. THe low marks baffle me. |

Good work - grain has a good effect, could have used a little more detail in the highlights and shadows. |

King of pain. Sometimes one wonders whether contemplating the passion has not caused enough pain. It's an effective shot, though it seems somehow self-conscious. |

a powerful image and subject to invoke. Well shot too. I love the grain. I think we need more grain on DPC and I appreciate you using it so well here |

Beautiful! It's probably going to get marked down for religious reasons, but technically it's a very strong photo and I'm giving you my highest rating. |

Interesting feel. I don't really see the pain coming through, but I like the style. |

There's emotion to this subject most will ever know. Very good idea, the forehead is burned out, just a little dodging could help there. |

Nice composition and theme. I thought about this too, but rejected the idea. Your loghting is a bit harsh I think. The right half of the face is blown out. Perhaps you just used too much contrast. The grain is cool. 6. |

Absolutely astonishing. I want to be one of the first to tell you. I love the composition, the emotion, and detail. The grainy B&W works great. 10! |
