This is my first attempt at high key portraiture, I thought this challenge was a good excuse to try it. The model is my daughter (who loves posing as long as she gets a donut when we're done). There are some lovely shots, take a look in my portfolio to see the rest of them.
I used lights to illuminate the backdrop which is white paper, strobe with snoot from above, strobe with umbrella at 45 degrees, and window light at 90 degrees for fill.
In photoshop, I added adjustment layers (levels - to brighten the whites, selective color - to adjust her top which was a little blue), dodged around the skirt, burned the eye lashes and lips, cropped and added the border.
I hope the voters see the connection between light and high key - high key refers to a photograph with light tones.

this isn't a challenge I can vote on so I was just glancing through the thumbnails. This one really caught my eye. Wonderful, softness and tone. This is a portrait any mother would cherish forever. Good luck in the challenge. A 10 to me!
