A cold day with damp hot air coming out of a man hole. I took about 15 pictures of this lamp. It's about a block from the White House and I kept expecting security to chase me away. Basic editing of color, contrast, brightness, and sharpness in Photoshop Elements. The original looks almost the same. I'm happy with this shot and hope it's well received. I'll be on vacation when voting concludes and might not see the results for a while. Thanks in advance for any comments.

I really can't believe that this only just scraped a 6. Sure the angle has probably cost a few points, but really. My suspicion is that simply because it looks so photoshopped (and I mean very skillfully photoshopped) ... but that vote curve is pretty evenly centred around the 6 point. I think you have perhaps suffered from the fact that this was an advanced editing challenge.
