You seem to be leaning ............
05/04/2002 09:59:00 PM
are we in piza? what's with all the leaning towers

I believe your canted camera angle has taken away from the result you were after. If you would have kept the long verticle lines parallel with the sides of the frame it would have been much more effective.

The lean makes it a more interesting picture than if it were standing straight up.

I understand why you used this angle but not sure it really works for this picture/challenge.
05/02/2002 07:49:00 PM
Subject of the image is a bit non-engaging. Interesting composition though.

si-lin-DRI-city or si-LIN-dri-city?

Nice contrast between the two towers. The grey clouds work great for the subject, as well as the added red from the smaller tower.

I like how you put it at an angle.

You chose the tilt for a reason, I guess. Don't know if I'd like it better straight or not. Not the most interesting subjects, but good colors and you got the camera pointed skyward - seems like the most important thing.

Nice sky, nice idea. Unfortunately, still has that snapshot feel to it because the towers are leaning and there's no real focus to what the purpose of the photo is.

Well lit and uniquely framed.

good job!

a tall, meaningless thingamajig, nice quality on the photo

Composition equates this to the Leaning Tower of Pisa, which in fact not the case (I presumed).
04/29/2002 02:20:00 PM
Mmmm, rust spots! I like the tilted composition of this.

Awesome colors and focus. This would have been great for the curves challenge too. My highest rated so far
04/29/2002 12:22:00 PM
Is this in Piza?
04/29/2002 12:00:00 PM
This is a good interpretation of the challenge... I do like camera tilt but i'm not sure what it's adding to this particular photo...
04/29/2002 10:29:00 AM
Hmmm... great colours, great sense of erosion and rust. The composition is interesting but somehow lacks focus.
04/29/2002 08:44:00 AM
I feel like I'm about to fall over!

Cool! SImple, but likeable.
