 Hidden Lake Trail to Oberlin Mountain in Glacier National Park. Uphill for about 1.25 miles. I was carrying my backpack and 2 cameras, batteries, water, filters, and a tripod. It was worth it!

Good point Lev. I brought the tripod because I was considering using ND filters to enable me to take a long exposure image to express the movement of the clouds. I wasn’t happy with that result. Also I was playing around with Timelapse photography.

A lovely view indeed! Congrats on HM! What I don't get is why photographers are still carrying tripods for normal daylight landscape shots. Would camera shake be noticeable for 1/1000s or less exposure, especially with modern IS?
