 This is my husband, he normally carries my camera bag, and I'm normally 20 metres behind taking photos. Well not always, only when I see an amazing scene like this where my camera was begging me to take a few photos.

When I took this photo we had been walking for over an hour around this lake in NZ, it took over 2 hours all up. Was well worth it. I was amazed how different the fauna looked from one side of the Lake to the other. The shire had done an amazing job trying to build up the beauty of this lake. It was an inspiring day for both of us.

one of my very favourites in this challenge .
i'm loving the intense foreground colours .. and the soft pastels in the mountains .. the contrast contributes to the feeling of distance .. which really fits with your title .. :)
