Beautiful. Great detail and good composition. Could have done with some sunlight to brighten the colours I think, but still a great job. Well done.

Pretty. I like the detail in the feathers and the way you caught the hawk's head in profile. The pleasantly blurry snowy background is well done. Nice framing.

Good job, great focus and contrast with the white and dark areas.

Wow! Great detail on this bird! I love bird shots, so you know you're gonna get at least one good score!! My nit is the fence - I know that wildlife shots don't always "present themselves" in a perfect setting, but the fence takes a couple of notches away from the wildlife feel of this photo. Great color!! Focus is perfect! 9 Swash

The overly bright background has made it difficult for proper exposure of the front side of your hawk. If it was possible I think you should have taken more shots with varied exposure values to get the feathers to come to life. I also think a tighter crop would have improved an otherwise great shot.

Nice shot. I think a more natural background would have been better.

Beautiful image of this handsome bird of prey. Is he missing part of his left wing?

Crystal clear focus, good depth of field. For stock purposes, I would leave more room at the top of the photo (editors sometimes want room for the magazine masthead or they want to crop from horizontal to vertical and they need the room). The chain link fence is distracting but the image is powerful.

What a gorgeous animal. The chain link is disappointing, but maybe you can photoshop that out. The texture of his chest feathers is incredible.

Now make another copy with out the fence and send it to Audubon. Oh wait! I like the way the fence is mirrored in his feathers, enhances the sense of captivity.

I don't like the fence in the background but the bird is magnificent. Very well taken. A pinch more exposure might've done you good if it didn't was the background out

Background is a bit distracting, but the bird is very well captured. I kind of wish the colors were a bit more brilliant, not sure if you could have fiddled with it to make it that way. Nice shot.
