Hi Folks! I've been away for quite a while... I'm IreneM

During the last four years, the love of my life has been slowly dying from a seldom and aggresive form of Cancer.

During these years I hardly touched anything to do with my camera equipment,
I took up knitting instead in order to spend every moment I could with him.

He died 5 months ago.. There are no words to express my pain..

About a week ago I did some shots, a lot of garbage, not happy as all. But after two or three hours I started getting back into the throw of things.

I checked the Challenges and decided to try my luck.

I don't care if I turn up last, I'm just happy to slowly get back to the hobby I dearly love.

Congrats on your yellow ribbon. I like this artistic composition especially the colors which are in harmony with the object. I'm sorry for this sad news. I share your pain at this time of mourning and accept the expression of my most sincere condolences.

Thanks so much, Jed. Thanks for the congrats. I can't tell you how nervous I've been this last while worrying if I could do anything to get back to a form of normality.
I've always loved this site and I'll be staying as long as I can.

Heavy dark areas seem at odds. A much lower opacity might suffice. GL.
