The mesh pattern is dried mud (it rains sometimes).
Lots of people ther, lots of tracks, and I unfortunately forgot to erase some of them...

I am always in awe of landscape photos - doesn’t matter the terrain - a well captured (as this is) shot transports you there . . . I do not have the eye to capture something like this, you sure have the gift!

Seemingly born for black and white imagery. The textures and contrast are a treat for the eyes. The shapes and contours are almost dizzying to behold.
Would have bumped one if there were no tracks.
Still, co-second favorite of the challenge.
