 What a nice encouragement that you voters have granted me! Thanks alot!

I almost didn't submit this picture, I was so dissatisfied with it! The pancakes were okay but the maple syrup was my last nerve. Since the plate is handmade, it is very uneven and slightly curved upwards, so that the syrup ran in all possible directions, just not the one I wanted.
How nice that it ended on the front page!

Oh, thanks for the trick, Susan, I've never heard it before. Unfortunately you can't eat the pancakes any more then ... which we actually did in this case 😉

Nicely done. If you want to control the syrup, spray the pancakes with scotch guard. It’s a trick used by food photographers.

ps .. loving the dof .. with the focus on that beautiful drizzle, the butter and pancakes .. and the cut orange in the background oof but easy to identify .. :)
