OK, I get it. The blood doesn’t look real! The fact is I just didn’t have the time to figure it out. Trying to come up with an idea for this one came down to the end. My wife was not interested in seeing me kill myself in the bathtub and she wanted to take a shower so I was on my own. I used red acrylic paint out of the bottle, set the shot up and took it thinking maybe I could fix the blood in Photoshop. I had to clean up the paint before it dried so no retakes. I was going to make the shot in B&W. The “blood” didn’t look as bad but ended up just reducing the saturation for a little more effect. I’ll have to learn how to make better blood the next time.

Congrats on the yellow, Larry. This was my top pick (the blood kept it to 9 rather than 10). I love the letter!

CONGRATULATIONS on the ribbon ..
i felt that this might be you .. the style of photo and words had a Larry stamp .. but i'm always hesitant to say in case i'm wrong ..
anyway .. the blood .. whatever .. like i said in voting .. you may not have been human .. hence the weird colour .. ;)
its a brilliant entry for the challenge .. and so so imaginative ..
love it .. :)

LOVE THIS .. !!!
and bonus i was able to read your entire letter ..
i'm wondering however about the signature .. and if it is a real one ..
of course i'm trying to work out who this is ..

you have been able to put into words what many of us feel .. thankyou for that ..
i for one dont feel so alone in my pain .. lol ..

not to put a damper on this .. but the blood .. looks almost too thick and not the right colour ..
we have certain standards here in dpc ... only one account .. and i'm sure it didnt need to be said .. that its only open to humans ..
whatever ..
it appears that you couldnt stand the pace on dpc .. or this earth ..
just realized you will never see what i've written .. so i'll never get an answer .. oh well .. i'll live .. ;)
