 Yeah. I really, really dislike this challenge topic.

I've always been a "Life is Good" kinda gal.

So depressing Googling for ideas.

I saw a photo close-up of a noose and came up with this.

I hope you hate it as much as I do (but give me a good score, please). :D

One of my good friends hanged himself. I don't like this at all.

Let's have something cheery, huh?

ETA: It's easier to look at this when you know that the rope is only on the ceiling with cheery, blue painter's tape. :D

I didn't vote in this challenge - I want pick me ups not put me downs right now.

That said, the negative space here really adds to the overall 'sadness' you are portraying. (oh and I have a wonky chair like this as well).

i gave you a good score like you asked . lol ..
and i also have had a friend hang himself .. was the saddest thing .. especially as he wrote his suicide note to me .. :(
so to be cheery .. like you asked .. i will add .. what a great place you came in the challenge .. !! .. many congratulations .. :)

a very strong image for the challenge ..
and i can see this with a blue ribbon under it ..
it really is a great sadness when a person makes the choice to end their life ..
but i'm not sure if it is the ultimate sadness .. as there are so many ..
a person living alone and dying without anyone knowing .. thats pretty sad ..
parents who live in disharmony and pass their disfuntion on to their children ..
i could go on ..
i find the lighting in this photo interesting ..
is the person looking at that set-up and deliberating whether to do it or not .. maybe the light is like a message ... of hope .. if he or she doesnt do it .. can their life become meaningful and full of joy .. anything is possible ..
