I'm floored at how well this was doing. It was at 7.35 until the last day, and 9 comments!

It's not a reflection. Had the idea of ghosting myself. It was a lot more complicated to begin with but those thoughts didn't work out.

This is a long exposure with me in the frame for part of the time. I also used to flash on me at the beginning of the exposure.

I thought it was a pretty cool idea, and I showed my husband and he said nice reflection.

Seriously?!? A reflection? Argh! that would have been so much easier.

But then I thought about it, and couldn't figure out how you could take a straight-on reflection of yourself without the camera showing. So then I felt a bit better. :)

The photo is the only one that I had that was big enough for a background. It's one that I took a number of years ago. It's matted but not framed. So I just propped it up on top of a bookcase.

so cool you got the red for this Wendy .. what i really like about this is there is something rather lovely coming out of this photo .. something about your energy and personality ..
altho i know the camera can lie .. i think you caught empathy and caring .. hope i'm right .. lol ..
its actually quite beautiful .. and the bird on your face .. i have changed my mind about that .. it totally works especially with your title ..!!.. xx
