It's the face showing that is the subject, in my opinion. And... this is about not showing the face, so... I think that's what "only" got you 13th place.
I do enjoy examining it... and it would probably do very well in a different challenge topic.

A really excellent environmental portrait, but as  wbanning said in the thread, the main subject of this exercise is out of focus :) |

i really dont understand why this didnt do better when i see the competition ..
its beyond me .. i think it should have got the blue .. just saying .. :) |

this is the first photo i've opened up as the thumb really got my attention .. and i'm thinking this might get the blue .. !! ..
how original .. and how GOOD .. !!!! .. of course i'm wondering how you did this .. did you buy a mask .. or are you albert reincarnated .. in exactly the same body . !! .. |
