This shot did not turn out entirely the way I had planned it. It turned out to be a lot more work piecing the boxes together to fit my frame than I had imagined. Since I had no one to help me I had to figure out how to slide into the boxes and position myself properly. I had to take a lot of images before I had all the details worked out. It wasn't until the very end when I had pretty much decided I was finished that Cooper meandered over to see what I was up to. I continued shooting. This was the 2nd to last shot and I knew it was the one!
Thank you everyone for your amazing comments. I have enjoyed so much reading your reactions to this image. It makes the time and effort well worth it to know that the viewers find pleasure and even a little chuckle from my "in the box" humor!!!

I love this so much!!! I wanna know where you put the trigger!!
I had cut a hole in the box next to my right hand. I hid the trigger under the box lid and used a 2 second delay. I cloned out the wire connecting the trigger to the camera that was suspended above in an opening above our foyer.
CONGRATS .. pretty much knew it was yours during voting.. the imagination, style and dedication to creating something unique .. all had that golfer guys touch ..
and after reading your comment I had to smile .. so it's not just me then .. who takes a stack of shots.. and its the very last one that really works ..
or second last in your case.. :)
:-) Great background story - love it :-)
So glad other people also have "simple ideas" that turn into a marathon shoot! Good for you that you persevered.
Wow! Knowing you did this all by yourself makes it quite incredible. Great job! I hope Cooper gets lots of treats. He certainly added tons of points for the cute factor.
I love the stories that go with pictures. Thanks for telling us :)
