 My model backed out on me last minute, something I thought might happen, so I decided I'd risk the self portrait. The idea of smoke came to me when talking to a teammate about what "single light" meant and two hours, four pipes of dry tobacco, one cigar, and a tongue that lost all sense of taste for 2 days later this came out.

Wow, just blown away by the response. I can count on one hand how many times I've tried my hand at portrait photography, so I'm running with beginners luck on this one as it's my 2nd highest scoring image of all time. Thanks for the votes and comments. And I have to give a huge shout out to the best team on the planet, because what you see here came with hours of back and forth on various edits with input from all of them. In the end this one won out over these...

Fabulous shot! 9 from me, love what you did with everything and your story, I can only imagine! Outstanding outtakes as well, love the colour cigar, looks very Clint Eastward!
