One of my absolute favorite places to be, Chincoteague Virginia. Haven't been in quite a few months. I love watching the snowy egrets run around after fish. They're so flamboyant when they do it. As I'm taking shots my husband says did you see that you can see fish jumping in front of them?? I hadn't noticed through the lens. And could hardly wait to get home to see if I got any shots. I was so excited I had about four or five shots with fish. It wasn't perfect, they were a little bit blurry. But I noticed and tried the shake reduction feature in Photoshop for the first time. It's amazing! It's still not perfect, but definitely made it into usable photo instead of a throwaway photo. This was also the first time out with the new lens. I had to wait for a year to get my Sony 100-400 lens. And I'm so happy to have it. The Canon 100-400 on the Sony was just so painful. I can hardly wait for the opportunity to go back and try it again. There's definitely a learning curve with the new camera, tracking, and the new lens.

Thanks for all the wonderful comments!

Don’t you love it when you get home and you see things that were hidden at the time you pressed the shutter. I knew undoubtably that this was the winner as soon as I saw the photo with the title. brilliant Wendy absolutely brilliant.

Astonishing "catch" or not. Looks a bit overexposed on my monitors.

I like how bright and almost overexposed this is. almost overexposed is not overexposed.

the lightness is metaphorical for the lightness of his steps as he appears to walk on water.
