First off I gathered a bunch of violets which grow all around my home. I prepared the table with a green cloth and covered it with white lace. I placed the violets in a circle and finished with the piece sign. I decided I needed to do something else with the background I then used the lasso tool to segregate the violets from the table cloth. I then inverted the selection and used the radial blur to create the backgroun. I did some cleanup around the violets and that was it.

I want to thank everyone for the comments and votes. I started out really stronng with a 6.7, it bouced around up and down then it really went south this eve. I just couldn't watch it go any lower so started working on some of my other photos. I was curious to see how it did and I can't begin to tell you how awesome it is for me to get a ribbon, I am so excited. I've been here for almost a year, submitted my first 100 challenges and now a red ribbon. Thank you so much!! I'm still jumping up and down.
