Thank you voters and commenters. I really appreciate this feedback: I have some misgivings about this inversion business - 2 comments spoke to this (Jake and PGerst). So I guess I too overcame some of my misgivings...

Nice to be appreciated and congratulated as well. And plumped (?) to be honoured by Don and Georges.

How can something so busy be so pleasing?
It's like in Amadeus, where the comment is made: Emperor:"And there are simply too many notes, that's all. Just cut a few and it will be perfect."
Mozart: Which few did you have in mind, Majesty?"

I must never, ever vote on my mobile again. I am too embarrassed to admit what I rated your lovely photograph, but on my phone it showed up nowhere near as lovely as I am seeing it now on my laptop. Breathtaking, intricate, delicate.

At first, I started to dismiss this one. But then, somehow, the effect here drew me back and I'm still looking at this. Its been a couple minutes now and I don't think I've ever looked at a photo for so long. My vote is clearly proportional to how long I'm looking at this. Very nice.

The soft colors suit this beautifully.. I enjoy how the little lilies fill the space. I could see this printed up really large.

I really don't want to like the negative effect here. I don't want to, but I do. It works.
