24 votes 7.50 I have to say I'm shocked!!! Really thought it would score lower, possibly the sixes.

Hung around 7.2 a while, then the inevitable:

Still quite surprised this is doing so well. When I went to the beach to shoot for this challenge, I really didn't think I came back with anything too special. I played around with several composites and just wasn't entirely happy with them. In the end I just combined 3 photos which kind of resembled something decent. It didn't make sense but I figured that would be typical of a few images in this challenge, so I went for it not really thinking it would score as high as it is now!

45 mins to go and I need .05 to attain a new PB! Can I do it, time will tell, still sitting here quite befuddled, and to think I nearly changed this, but I was going away to Sydney for a wedding and didn't have time to re-shoot!

Whoa, thanks so much for all the nice votes people, I didn't think I could beat gyaban, but it was great to come 2nd place beside him, in an expert challenge. Thanks for the bling as well Don.

Nor again. Beautifully constructed surreal image. Very sensitive construction of critically off-balance symmetry. My top pick.
