This is an amazing idea and nicely photographed. I haven't seen any of the other entries but I am sure that you deserved the blue ribbon.

magnetic9999, I believe the pizza was for three *in a row* so you're out of luck. :)

Interesting, but I'd like to see it in a more natural environment, like where these transitions actually took place.
04/28/2002 11:19:00 AM
Wow -- outstanding composition. Nicely done.
04/27/2002 08:57:00 PM

04/27/2002 03:19:00 PM
really nice layout, looked a little photoshopped but I have voted for it as normal
04/27/2002 10:28:00 AM
I like the symmetry and the color on white. Good picture!
04/27/2002 12:08:00 AM

Simplicity of life
04/25/2002 11:56:00 AM

04/24/2002 04:24:00 PM

04/24/2002 10:09:00 AM

Nicely done.
04/23/2002 11:02:00 PM
Great Work !
How long did it take you to collect those flowers?
04/23/2002 08:10:00 PM
I see this shot in a textbook. Very cool!!
04/23/2002 05:06:00 PM
Very nice abstract composition. Looks to me like the 2nd to left flower is old rather than young though...
04/23/2002 08:06:00 AM
excellent! i really like the layout
04/23/2002 07:17:00 AM
very stong, simplistic image.
04/23/2002 04:34:00 AM
Nice display, nice color. Did you try diff background colors?
04/23/2002 01:42:00 AM
By far my favorite of the flower shots. Good job.
04/23/2002 01:40:00 AM
ooh pretty
04/22/2002 08:06:00 PM
I like this a lot, even though the whole thing was artificially setup, i could see this as being in a botany textbook...good job
04/22/2002 06:01:00 PM
Top 3
04/22/2002 04:58:00 PM
another good concept, I like your picture
04/22/2002 04:36:00 PM
Oh my flowers were harmed in the production of this photo. Does the anti-vineescetion league know about this?
04/22/2002 04:09:00 PM
nice coloring and composition
04/22/2002 03:01:00 PM
Nice idea.
04/22/2002 01:30:00 PM
This is a wonderfully executed photogrpah. Your contrast and clarity here is perfect. Composition is excellent and i love the 'transition'!!!
04/22/2002 12:35:00 PM
Awesome. I feel like there should be "Think Different" somewhere in this image as the white background with flowers looks like an Apple computer advertisement. :)
04/22/2002 12:22:00 PM
I like this photo because the theme is evident and the shot is clear. My only reservation is the lack of a "natural" feel. It's more like a science experiment than a depiction of actual, transitioning life.
04/22/2002 12:12:00 PM
Nice arrangement. Focus on centre seems slightly out?
04/22/2002 11:45:00 AM
Wow - beautiful work!
04/22/2002 11:43:00 AM
Wow. Excellent shot. Great lighting. Very clear imagery of transition.
04/22/2002 10:32:00 AM
Best Flower Shot !
04/22/2002 10:04:00 AM
I give nine, Great concept, great idea but not convincingly real
04/22/2002 09:56:00 AM
cool theme, great arrangement. I'd personally turn it 180 degrees so it was more 'upbeat' Nicely done.
04/22/2002 09:10:00 AM
Nice shot, very colorful and clean.
04/22/2002 08:53:00 AM
I love the composition and color. Outstanding jjob of taking a plain flower shot and doing it up!
04/22/2002 08:38:00 AM
Good photo but wouldnt call it progress.
04/22/2002 08:23:00 AM
a little too typical for my eyes
04/22/2002 08:10:00 AM
Cool way to capture transitions. Your photo is in facus and is very colorful.
04/22/2002 08:07:00 AM
Although it meets the criteria of the challenge, this picture looks to contived for me.
04/22/2002 07:57:00 AM
Great idea. Definitely conveys the theme.
04/22/2002 07:51:00 AM
Great shot. I really like it.
04/22/2002 06:38:00 AM
Straight from a science book. Very well done.
04/25/2002 12:51:00 PM
If people can't see the transition in this superb shot, then they're mad
04/23/2002 02:46:00 PM
good interesting and well thought out image worked for
04/23/2002 02:41:00 PM
Good transition photo...Good, clear exposure. Well lit.
04/23/2002 01:21:00 PM
the colors are brilliant, but the formation is way too formal for my liking -- maybe it's a clash between the unnatural lay out with the natural subject...
04/22/2002 01:45:00 AM
This is very nice and a fitting title. Wonderful colors and interesting composition.
04/22/2002 01:19:00 AM
Beautifully shot. And you did a good job of selecting your subjects.
04/22/2002 12:21:00 AM
This is the most amazing idea and done so well !!! My fav so far !
