Great commercial graphic.

there are some serious aliasing artifacts around the edges of the wine glasses, how did you convert this image to it's final size? also, i don't know enough about wine to tell if those are good wines or not. :)
04/28/2002 03:58:00 PM
do you work for Riunite, or what? where is the cheese with this wine...oh there it is, its your picture!
04/28/2002 08:15:00 AM
hmmmm alcohol
Really good
04/27/2002 06:43:00 PM
I do not drink alcohol of any kind, but this is probably my favorite picture. I like the symmetry and balance you've set up. the lighteningis good, and everything is very much in focus. One tiny little thing -- maybe scoot the red glass right a bit, or the white one left. Still -- great shot. 10.
04/27/2002 04:22:00 PM
Well taken, but this is better suited for a contrast than a transition.
04/27/2002 05:53:00 AM
nice ying/yang concept for this still life.
04/26/2002 06:17:00 PM
Nice still shot. I like the symmetry andthe fact that the glasses are switched from their corresponding bottles.
04/25/2002 10:40:00 AM
Beautifully done photo.
04/25/2002 05:44:00 AM
Nicely composed.
04/24/2002 07:44:00 PM
Very nice photo. Very crisp.
04/24/2002 06:00:00 PM
One of my favorite shots. Looks like it belongs in a magazine someplace!
04/24/2002 09:58:00 AM
great shot for an ad
04/23/2002 11:18:00 PM
looks like a professional advertising shot.
04/23/2002 10:24:00 PM
Did you steal this from a magazine? Just kidding. Very nice picture.
04/23/2002 07:34:00 PM
Nice jusxtaposition of glass vs type crossing the picture. This would have been excellnet for the upcoming product challenge as well. How'd you achieve the totally white background?
04/23/2002 06:02:00 PM
I think the transitional nature of the subject requires that any winemaking related pictures should be of grapes squashing through people's toes. This picture almost gets the commercial look, but the light reflecting of the bottles is too hard, and it is almost over exposed. More problematically though, it isn't very interestingly composed.
04/23/2002 04:33:00 PM
A nice still life, well executed.
04/23/2002 08:51:00 AM
aside from the prettiness (love the lighting, the colors and the lines of the bottles), the transition is obvious, good job!
04/23/2002 03:57:00 AM
I really liked this idea, but the glasses aren't lined up the same on either side, and the grapes are also not balanced. This was the difference between a good picture and a great picture for me; it just needed to be a bit more symmetrical.
04/22/2002 08:26:00 PM
good photography skills, not an interesting transition in my opinion
04/22/2002 08:15:00 PM
very nice shot, great composition and focusing, I like the light reflections on the purple grapes, but the reflection on the wine bottles is a little distracting
04/22/2002 04:14:00 PM
i'll drink to that
04/22/2002 02:51:00 PM
i like the white background, and how the glasses are on the opposite sides from their bottles and respective grapes.
04/22/2002 02:36:00 PM
good idea, good shot, good work.
04/22/2002 02:33:00 PM
A nice photo. Could be in a wine brochure! Seems a tad out of focus and the shadows are a bit distracting.
04/22/2002 12:59:00 PM
Beautiful pic
04/22/2002 12:47:00 PM
GReat shot!! how on earth did you get that fade out purple behind the table? Please tell.
04/22/2002 12:43:00 PM
Picture perfect :) I really like these type of advert style photos. Are the shadows to harsh?
04/22/2002 10:22:00 AM
Very nice! Excellent composition... very well done. I also like the 'transition' concept here! Good work!
04/22/2002 09:43:00 AM
This is an amazing shot!
04/22/2002 08:02:00 AM
Great product picture, although it does match this theme as well.
04/22/2002 07:56:00 AM
Nice mix of symmetry and asymmetry. Decent transition as well.
04/22/2002 07:52:00 AM
i get this photo, but you don't really see anything happening.. but it definitly has shown some thought
04/22/2002 07:47:00 AM
Nicely done. Shadows are the only distraction in an otherwise perfect picture
04/22/2002 07:41:00 AM
lovely still life. very well composed/ put together. seems it could have been a fraction more to the right, to capture the whole shadow (now I'm being picky) Good call picking Australian wine too. I like the yin/yang dichotomy of the white and red wines intertwined with the grapes. (you have to excuse me, I'm practising art-speak) Great picture.
04/22/2002 05:58:00 AM
lovely still life
04/22/2002 05:58:00 AM
Great shot, but does not really show the transition.
04/25/2002 02:28:00 PM
lame
04/25/2002 02:14:00 PM
It's a wonderfull picture. I like the arrangement very much. Technically seen, the edge of the table shown behind the glass of white wine is a little disturbing.
04/25/2002 12:16:00 PM
The light feels too bright, especially with the glare off the bottle tops and rims of the glasses.
