*Hello from Sid and the Critique Club*
Congratulations on your high placing for an original take that meets the challenge well.
What a lovely original idea that works well and in a humorous way too, we all like to laugh and smile. I love your attention to detail and the detail you have captured, in particular the mans face and expression and the eager anticipation of a sumptuous meal that is oh so going to disappoint!
The lighting is excellent it emphasises the lint meal, the utensils are bright and nicely reflecting the surroundings and we then move slowly up the lovely detail of the fingers towards that darkness from which that wonderfully expressive face appears. The only minor thing I can make any criticism of are the overblown highlights on the pepper pot in the foreground, apart from that the image is perfect, very engaging.
A quick look on your profile shows that this is not a one off, you are a very talented photographer with a yellow ribbon already, its a real shame we are not able to see more from you, please return, quickly, Sid |

| Hate the lint, but love everything else about this image! The lighting is super, the details and the "grunge" work well for me. I just wish there was a bloody steak or something other than lint on the plate, but then it would be a does not meet challenge comment! Excellent job on this one, one of my favorites in the challenge! |
