 Fourth row Chicago. I knew I was shooting for the challenge that night so I captured a lot of him. Thank you Tris!


Very excited to see how this does, but it doesn't start for 2 more days. sigh...

Blue! Six years and 101 challenges later!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I funny little side-note. I messaged Tris and asked him why there was a mister potato head in all of my pictures (see bottom right). From the message I got from him soon after, he thought I was cracking a joke about his head. That hadn't even crossed my mind. He explained that he had fought with cancer and that no one had ever called him that before. I was mortified that I had insulted him. Needless to say I cleared it up quick, but not before I got my entire office laughing at my indiscretion.

Loved following this story since the initial photo; re-reading it now has me wondering - what was the answer to the Mr Potatohead question?? ;)

It's funny how some images are just worth going back to over and over. I liked the capture before the edit, I like this edit more and thought it would do well. Since it has been hanging out on the front page I keep giving it another look, and it rewards that attention every time. The ribbon is nice, but this is just one of those shots that works on so many levels that it just gets better on repeated viewings, and that is a very rare thing.

I'm late to the congrats party... but I had this in my first place slot! AMAZEING shot, edit, and OMG there is a Mr Potato head! My only critique is I wasn't sitting beside u!!!! WOW Chicago and a Blue... Life don't get no better!!!!!
