Beautiful image. Perhaps a bit small in the overall frame but perfect focus, catchlight, pose and blur. Without a real flower or feeder visible in the image I feel it was done under A controlled environment.

A studio Hummer! Well,it sorts floods like that.presumably he was in just the right spot of light. Beautiful colors on him.

This entry makes me think of vawendy. If you're not her, than take this as a compliment. How you've managed having details in the feathers while this little guy's flapping around his wings is just amazing

This is beautiful. I wish there were more separation between the background and the hummingbird (more of a portrait feel), but beautiful none-the-less. It looks like you may have tried to do something like I'm suggesting but were wanting to keep it subtle. I'm curious what your background actually was. I hope this doesn't get DQ'd for removing a background.
