 Glad to be back!

I have found myself struggling a bit with my ideas.

I have gotten busy with work and my side photo biz, and then Jason and I celebrated 5 years of marriage on April 11th, and we went back to Tahiti, the same place we honeymooned at 5 years ago.

Since I have been back, I have had some trouble with creativity. I have found myself drawing blanks, and then when an idea would come to mind, I hated it. I was also struggling with confidence as well. Not really in my technical ability, but my ideas. I wasn't confident my ideas were good. I had worked up an image for Internet Meme, but I ended up not entering because I didn't like my idea enough. Even this entry. I couldn't come up with any ideas for the longest time and this particular image of legs using tulips as skirts kept creeping back into my head, so I shot it all and started editing, but I just never really liked it. I still kind of don't! I also really wanted to come up with something better than the most typical "oil paint" texture that I knew many would use, but due to my lack of decisiveness I left myself with no time for other options. Entering it has helped me regain some confidence in my ideas so for that, I am thankful!

Very elegant. Had to look twice at the legs, especially the pair on the left. The filter gives this pair a \\\"special\\\" effect. Luckily they're clearly female legs and I realized soon enough that it was the filter and not a pair of hairy legs. Sorry...don't mean to offend you :) If it helps: your entry is one of the 3 I gave a 10.
