 My daughter and my husband were the models here. We took this early in the morning standing next to our kitchen window, with only the natural light, but before the sun came up enough to fill the room.

this is simply a beautiful shot, something to frame, hide, and save as a going-away-to-college present for your daughter. congrats on your top-20 finish!

Good photo, one that makes you feel "touch." I think if you had cropped the bottom so the the eye was more directed at the hesitation in the baby's forefinger it would be a little more powerful and the razor stubble on the man's neck would not be so distracting... all-in-all good interpretation of the challenge.

This is very similar to my shot, only you took a different direction with the "touch" aspect. My favorite shot of this challenge. Great minds think alike :)

Come on, kid. Grab a handful and yank! :-) Kids love to touch beards and faces and eyebrows and glasses. It's all about touch. Brought back memories of when MY kids were young. Your image nicely portrays just the essentials to get that feeling across. Good luck in the challenge.

A lot of people use B&W for no good reason and if I don't think it adds to a picture I dock them a point for it. I added one to yours. An excellent shot and nice use of B&W

I love this shot. It captures the curiousity and purity of a baby's touch perfectly. It is also funny because you never know what the kid will do next... Pull on the wiskers or yank on the lips!!!
