I know this will split opinion - I wonder to what extent...

For me, I think this is one of the best images I've ever taken.

Beautiful and slightly disturbing.

This really is very striking, and yes, creates a sense of unease but also of power. In my opinion, the nudity adds to this - though some may say it adds a sense of vulnerability, it strikes me more as confidence.

Who waits at the rainy window nekkid? LOL!

I suppose it's the oddness of it all that sells this.

Congrats on your top ten!

OK! So it's a story that makes sense that you want. I can't promise to deliver on that - I plan to continue on the odd path for a while.

In the meantime though, here is my non-nude alternate but I don't believe it has the same power:

The framing, the pose behind the glass as if imprisoned, the water on the glass, and the expression that combine to create the mood here. Congratulations on the HM.

Congratulations on the HM, Paul. This image is beautiful, intriguing, and yes, a little disturbing. Certainly not an image to glide on by and forget.

This is exquisite art, imo. The nudity adds to the haunting dispair this portrays (if that makes sense, lol). I like this one better than the "best of" shot, in that it has a story waiting to be told. Congrats on the HM.

I do prefer this to the "other" nude on the front page, by a huge margin. Congrats on the HM, and for this evolution in vision :-)

It was a10 from meas well. The style, tones, setting, framing, pose, water on the glass, uneven glazing on the glass, all come together, and you did a fantastic job with the BW processing. Congratulations!

Very haunting; she looks like she is trying to convey something important to the viewer. The eye contact is mesmerizing. Good work.

There are a lot of awkward things about this that in the end make it more endearing. Good and interesting work

Interesting shot. I'm not crazy about the tight crop. For me, more window frame and building would make a stronger image.

Exquisite in her solitude, fabulous and haunting work, could possibly be a Paul shot.
