 I doubt I'm the only one who thought of backlit fruit, but I've always wanted to do it and this challenge provided a good excuse!

hey there. great job. It turned out really well with a nice composition. It is interesting why you included both rocks and fruit but i think it works quite well. I am not sure you would need rocks in the title though, i think it could be interesting to not say there are rocks there, then let people wonder what type of fruit they are. Great color and contrast. There seems to be dark black, whites and a nice mid-range... good job.

very nice shot. perfect execution of backlighing emphasized by interesting textures of the minerals and fruit. it looks like the subjects glow from within. well done!

You could play all day with various combinations of the composition of this image - but, bottom line: It's very attractive. It's the kind of image you would expect to see in lots of different commenrcial settings with a back lit frame to show it off. The contrasts between darks and lights, hard and soft, sweet, bitter and no taste - they're all there. Congratulations.

I like the colors and focus in this photo and the rocks are beautiful, but I wasn't pleased with the composition. I would have rated it higher with a better composition.

Hehe, you should have called this Fruity Pebbles. Anyway, I love the colors in this. I would like to see this done with just fruit, or just rocks. Other than backlighting I don't know what they have in common.
