 A little boy playing at the beach, he was trying so hard to float on the floatie. It was very cute, he looked like he was having so much fun. Makes me wish i were a kid again.

I miss so many good shots because I don't vote. Wonderful capture. I love how I can feel how hard he is concentrating on being able to get that float to work.

Its backlight but it appears to be more of a silhouette. My monitor is calibrated as well on both machines and still looks the same. Interesting picture tho and probably would have done better in a different challenge.

While I adore this image, and the moment you captured, the subjects face is just too dark....it seems to be almost a silouette. The only thing that makes it NOT a complete silouette is the detail in the underpants. I love the detail in the water, but I wish there was just a bit more exposed face in this image.

Not entirely a sihouette, but a little too much so to truly stay in the challenge description. A fill-in flash may have helped if it was powerful enough, or a reflector. Backlit shots on the water are really tough.
