Fair observation. f1.8 was making it difficult to fine tune the focus. It was just close enough that i figured it worked in spite of the missed focus on near eye.

I REALLY LOVE THIS, AS I CAN SEE HER THINKING DEEP THOUGHTS, AND YOU HAVE CAPTURED HER PERFECTLY WITH THE NATURAL LIGHT... Not sure about the streaky catchlight in the left eye. It makes her look sad. Maybe that's the point. Yes, nice curls though.

Lovely soft focus on the skin and sharp focus on the eyes. I like the composition, lighting, and DOF, and the beautiful child doesn't hurt either. :)
