Under our very noses but yet so elusive, may we all find the key one day.

This is our barn door and that's it's key. Just as I was finishing adjusting the tripod to get the desired angle, it started pouring down, the rain on the window made this shot much better I think, a lucky gift from the heavens.

Thanks for the great score and the kind comments.

The concept of us locked in as prisoners of our own minds/mindset resonates strongly in this photo. We all have the key within reach to break free of thoughts and feelings that hold us back - sometimes we use the key to unlock our potential and other times it rusts from disuse. B & W tones are fabulous and it compliments the mood of a 'prisoner of one's own mind'. Serendipity favored you with the rain for that is a very nice touch to the mood of the overall composition. I also love how their is a reflection of the barn/house and tree on his chest - to me that speaks of his heart yearning to be free and when placed along side his yearning gaze the need to get out from his 'locked cycle' screams but the cry is silent for it remains behind locked doors. Congrats on the well deserved Blue - this is a powerful conceptual shot.

Somewhere between Jerry Ulesman and Wes Craven lies an image, and this is it. Dark, brooding, somber, lovely, lovely, lovely. The degree of clarity of the key is a bit much, it feels like you pulled it up a bit too strongly in contrast since the blacks there are so much deeper than in the face, so it seems to hop up into the plane of the window instead of sitting behind it. One niggle in a best in show image.

Your mode's eye is intensely large! Otherwise a good image. But to me, the title should be something like "the eye sees ALL"... Just something funny about the angle.

Great grungy shot. Love the PP here. Nice detail. The reflection on the house and trees, and clouds in the window add that extra interest. And converting to black and white was a great idea! Well executed

For some reason this person makes me think zombie. The reflection in the window and the texture of the window panels gives the impression the tshirt is of the house. I like it.
