According to the weather report, I was supposed to wake up to 1-2 inches of white stuff today. *pout* Nothing!!! They are saying we're supposed to get 4-9 inches today, but I'm not holding my breath. *pout* If we get enough snow fast enough I don't have to finish work (I drive for a living).

OK all you sick people who LIKE s***...we got 3 inches of thick wet slop for the morning drive. It's like driving in Crisco.

I was on the road before 0600hrs, (with my new snow tires I might add) and the ride into Ottawa was quite nice. Mind you, once I got to the junction of the 416 and 417, I rather wished I had stayed in bed.

Tonight, on my way home I get to pick up my brand new 30inch snowblower. :O)

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

Okay, it's drizzly today, no lawn-mowing :( Does that make you feel better, Susan?

I always like a good snow storm somewhere else! Winter here has been real tough with all the 60+ degree weather but I am sure we will be able to tough it out!

*shaking head pityingly* Sheila, you poor thing...go sit down with your head between your knees, it'll soon pass...and enjoy those frigid bone-chilling winds blowing in off of the ocean...

And Ray, the 416/417 is madness esp this time of year...why not just take the old 16 into town? You can get virtually anywhere in Ottawa within a few minutes drive off of Prince of Wales.

I had some slush to drive through, then a lot of rain. We had a new school bus driver who quit today because she had a hill to go down and she was afraid to go down it with it covered with slush. Heck, I stopped for a rider on my commuter bus today and ended up sliding right past her. We only had three accidents in the area though. So we did pretty good (with no injuries).
